Thank you for your interest in nominating a site for a Character Walk. Character Walks are immersive learning experiences that allow participants to observe, discuss, and reflect on how character is intentionally cultivated within a school or university community—across leadership, teaching, learning environments, and culture.

This questionnaire is designed to help us better understand the context, readiness, and alignment of potential host sites for a Character Walk. Responses will be reviewed to ensure alignment with the goals, values, and design of the experience.

Alignment & Readiness
Have you previously attended or hosted a Character Walk with Advancing Character Across Education (formerly KPCEL)
How is character intentionally integrated within the nominated school or university community? Please describe any guiding framework, model, or approach that informs this work, and how it shows up in the mission, leadership practices, curriculum, and student experience.
What practices, routines, or structures would participants be able to observe during a Character Walk at the nominated site? (e.g., classroom instruction, professional learning, student leadership, campus culture)
How does the nominated school or university reflect on and strengthen its character-related practices over time? (e.g., data use, reflection cycles, professional learning, student voice, continuous improvement processes)
