    Dear Gallerist.

    To promote your participation in VOLTA Basel 2026 across our website, social media, newsletters, and press, we kindly ask you to complete this form and upload images and videos for us to use. 

    The form consists of four steps:

    1. Gallery information

    2. Request for images and promotional material

    3. Curatorial themes

    4. Content

    5. Complimentary invitations

    Deadline: Please complete your form by Friday 14 March. Entries after this deadline may not be featured in our social media and PR features.

    To avoid any technical difficulties we recommend saving a copy of your answers as you go.

  • GALLERY INFORMATION

  • The details provided below will inform the marketing and press campaign, be published, and will supersede anything included in the application form.

  • Criteria 

    By sharing images, you confirm that you have the artist's permission for the image(s) to be used for press and marketing by VOLTA Art Fair.

    Only submit images from approved artists. 

    Please note only high quality imagery will be used for marketing and press purposes. Please ensure that the imagery shared is of a professional standard. 

    Please provide images in jpg format and high resolution (at least 1MB in size, 300dpi and a minimum of 2000px wide) otherwise they cannot be used. 

    If you have video content of your artists, please provide them in the following format: 

    - mov. or .mp4

    - 1080x1920px in size 

    - No text overlay or branding 

  • Lead Promotional Image

    Please send us one high resolution artwork image that best represents your gallery.

    This image will be used on your official VOLTA Basel website gallery listing page.

    Please DO NOT submit a picture of your gallery space.

    Please share any artist portraits, studio images and video content that you have for your chosen artists.

    This will help us communicate the narrative of your artist's work and familiarise audiences with them.

    Please add 3-5 high resolution images that showcase artwork from approved artists that will be exhibited at VOLTA Basel.

  • CURATORIAL THEMES

  • The 5000 Edit

    This year, VOLTA offers galleries the opportunity to take part in a new initiative, The 5000 Edit. This initiative highlights artworks priced at CHF 5000 or under to our audience, with a focus on encouraging collectors to purchase work by emerging artists during the fair. 

    Each exhibitor can submit one artwork to be a part of The 5000 Edit. 

    An accompanying content piece will be published on VOLTA's website to promote the initiative, and specially designed stickers will be available during installation to promote the work on your booth. 

    Please submit the work that you wish to be a part of The 5000 Edit below and ensure you include the price within the image name.

  • Further Curatorial Themes

    Please list any further particular curatorial themes that you plan to communicate this year. 

    Especially highlight any that relate to current news agendas, environmental themes, solo presentations, and female led galleries.

  • To assist our content development during the VOLTA Basel 2026 campaign, we would like to include as many of our exhibitor voices as possible. 

    The questions below will help us to inform our content pieces on VOLTA's website and social media platforms in the lead up to the fair. 

  • Upcoming Exhibitions and Highlights

    Please highlight any upcoming exhibitions or events that you have planned that we can share with our VIP audience. 

    Please include the show name, exhibiting artists and url links to the event.

    Each gallery will receive 200 digital VIP invitations.
