Call for 2026 HCD Presentations

Call for AMFP Facility, Project & Asset Management Presentations

Healthcare Design Conference + Expo, Oct. 17-20, 2026, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, LA
The deadline to submit to Facility, Project & Asset Management Track, organized by the Association of Medical Facility Professionals is Midnight, March 6, 2026.

Your proposal must include:
- Topic/Title
- Bio (100 word max) and headshot for each speaker
- 150-word abstract of your submittal
- Brief session outline with four learning objectives
Completed presentation materials will not be required until September.

Learning Objectives*
Please include 4 primary learning objectives your session will cover, which outline benefits and outcomes for the attendee. Learning objectives should start with action words such as: learn, identify, explore, obtain, describe, etc. Objectives should be clear and concise, as they will be used for marketing and accreditation purposes.
Health, Safety, Welfare (HSW)

We would encourage potential speakers to review the Health, Safety, Welfare (HSW) requirements required by AIA and IDCEC, and construct the learning objectives accordingly. To qualify for HSW, three of the four learning objectives must meet HSW standards: https://www.aia.org/pages/3281-health-safety-and-welfare-credits. HCD Conference will submit sessions to AIA and IDCEC for approval; speakers are not responsible for this process.
