OVERVIEW
The Miami Marlins Foundation will host a Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids, welcoming 20 Miracle League athletes for a one-day, hands-on baseball experience at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.
Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids provides individuals with physical and intellectual challenges the opportunity to build skills and confidence through a clinic hosted by a Major League organization. Athletes rotate through fun, self-paced stations focused on throwing, hitting, and fielding. Each station highlights a core baseball fundamental and is led by a Miami Marlins player and volunteers.
Parents and spectators are welcome to cheer from the stands.
Run of Show
11:30 AM to 12:00 PM: Check In
12:15 PM: Walk to Main Field
12:30 PM: Welcome and Introduction
12:35 PM: Jersey Exchange
12:45 PM: Station Play Begins
1:00 PM: Station Rotation
1:15 PM: Station Rotation
1:30 PM: Final Station Wrap Up
1:35 PM: Group Photo and Thank You
1:45 PM: Lunch for participants in the Cool Zone
Event Components
• Each participant receives a customized Miami Marlins jersey
• Baseball and softball skill stations, including
• Hitting off a tee at home plate and running the bases
• Fielding in the outfield
• Throwing to a target on the warning track
• Lunch provided for all participants following the event
Each station is self-paced. Athletes may move or take breaks as needed.
