Terms and Conditions
1. The PEACEPLUS Partnership is required to be representative of the community from across the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area. It will function as a voluntary body, responsible for the design, development and implementation of a PEACEPLUS Action Plan for the District and will comprise Local Authority Elected Members, Statutory/Government Department representatives and Social Partners.
2. The PEACEPLUS Partnership seeks to be representative of the groups identified under Section 75, PEACEPLUS target groups and a geographical-wide representation.
3. The Partnership meet on a bi-monthly basis, with the potential for additional meetings to occur at ‘peak’ periods.
4. This is a voluntary appointment, with only travel and subsistence costs that have been incurred as a result of fulfilling the role of a Social Partner on the Partnership reimbursed.
5. Final decisions in relation to the implementation of the PEACEPLUS Action Plan will ultimately be taken by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council in its capacity as lead partner in accordance with programme guidance.
6. Through this recruitment and selection process, it is intended that a reserve list of candidates will be compiled and any vacancies that arise for Social Partners on the Partnership will be filled using this reserve list which will remain active for the duration of the PEACEPLUS Programme.
7. Only one nomination per organisation will be considered. However, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council reserves the right to appoint more than one applicant per organisation where there is a sector and/or interest not covered. Applicants must clearly demonstrate that they possess the skills-set/experience to support appointment on this basis.
8. In the event of suitable candidates exceeding the places available, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council reserves the right to introduce an interview as part of the selection process.
