CultureWorks is a day-long arts and culture festival, designed to highlight Greensboro's creative sector and bring people together through art, fashion and creativity. From local designers to nationally renowned creatives, CultureWorks will uplift diverse voices, support community connection, and fuel cultural tourism in downtown Greensboro. Produced by Creative Greensboro, the City's office of arts and culture, this event will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Greensboro Cultural Center and LeBauer Park, the heart of the Cultural District.
Creative Greensboro is offering two opportunities for artists, makers, and creative groups: the Creative Exchange will consist of traditional tabling/tents and maker spaces, while the Remix will consist of interactive, experimental, performance-based activations that engage festival-goers throughout the day.
The Creative Exchange:
Calling all small creative businesses and independent makers! CultureWorks is hosting a tabling event, and we want you there. Open to creatives of all kinds—jewelry makers, hairstylists, makeup artists, illustrators and more. If your craft is handmade, service-based, or visually creative, we welcome you to apply. This event celebrates creativity in all forms. Limited space available. Artists selected to table at this event must pay a $25 vendor fee to confirm their slot.
The Remix: Got an idea you’ve been itching to test in public?
We're looking for interactive, experimental, performance-based activations that will engage festival-goers throughout the day. Selected individuals or groups will provide bold, playful, and family-friendly experiences — performances, pop-ups, showcases, and creative interactions that invite people to stop, participate, and connect. Groups selected for this opportunity will be compensated based on the scope of their proposed activation. Contracts will be made between the City of Greensboro (Creative Greensboro) and the individual artist or business/non-profit entity.
