NOTE: Insurance coverage only applies to coaching within the United States of America.

Steps to obtain 2026 K&K Insurance with USMCA:
- Submit the 2026 USMCA Insurance Program Application.
- Pay the invoice upon receipt of the USMCA email.
- Watch for your certificate of insurance (COI) to be emailed to you by a K&K Insurance representative within 1-5 business days.
Who is the carrier of the insurance policy?
- The carrier is MARKEL INSURANCE COMPANY. K&K Insurance is the managing general underwriter, and we work with a K&K representative who is assigned to support our team with the USMCA program. The representative will process all applications, issue the Certificate of Insurance, and is available to answer your insurance-specific questions.
How much does it cost?
- Dirt Bike Coaches: Insurance is $648.00 total (decreased after 08/01/26 to $316.00) for the 2026 policy year (see effective dates below).
- Sport Bike Coaches: Insurance is $328.00 total (decreased after 08/01/26 to $160.00) for the 2026 policy year (see effective dates below).
- Dual-Certified Coaches: Insurance is $648.00 total (decreased after 08/01/26 to $316.00) for the 2026 policy year (see effective dates below).
When does the policy start? When does it expire?
- The USMCA insurance policy starts on February 1, 2026. (Note: Each Coach’s coverage will begin on the day K&K Insurance sends the coach their certificate of insurance.)
- The USMCA insurance policy expires at 12:00 AM Pacific Time on February 1, 2027.
If my USMCA Certification expires, am I still insured?
- USMCA Certification must be active to qualify and participate in the USMCA Certified Coaches Insurance Program.

I understand that I am applying for the USMCA Insurance Program, which will be bound once the USMCA receives payment and K&K Insurance issues a Certificate of Insurance (COI). Please note that coverage will begin on 2/1/2026 or the payment date, whichever is later, and it will expire on 2/1/2027. This insurance is in excess of a primary event coverage policy expected to be in place. This policy is designed for coaches actively coaching at track day events, schools, practices, and races where the event promoter or manager provides primary insurance coverage.

I acknowledge that I have an active USMCA Certified Coach certificate, and I am eligible for the USMCA Certified Coach Insurance Program. I understand that I will receive confirmation of insurance and a PDF copy of the Certificate of Insurance directly from K&K Insurance via email.
