Chalk Art Festival Artist Agreement
Event Dates: April 23-26, 2026
Location: Inlet Parking Lot, Ocean City, MD

- 4/25 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- 4/26 10:00 AM - TBD (this will be an abreviated day with award ceremony)
*Once all participants are secured, we will send a sign up for artists to choose which festival days to produce their work.
By submitting this form, you agree to the following terms:
Artist Application Requirments:
- NO artist will be considered without samples of previously created murals or chalk drawings.
- All artwork must be original and cannot be reproduced from another artist.
- Artwork for the festival must be appropriate for public viewing. No words, symbols or logos intended as advertising may appear within the chalk drawing image.
- Artists are not allowed to sub-advertise their square/space in any way. Official sponsors and artists only.
- Chalk will be provided; however, if you are using a specific colors in your design you may want to purchase that color before the festival. Only non-oil-based soft chalk/pastels in a solid form may be used for the street painting. Acrylic paints, spray can pastels, oil-based pastels, hard pastels, etc. are not acceptable. All materials will be screened for approval at check in.
- Squares are 10'x10'. All artwork must fill the entirety of the 10'x10' space you may bring a 10x10 tent to block sun or rain.
- Chalk artists at the festival are not paid and there is no reimbursement for travel or lodging. However, limited housing can be requested by out of state participants. Housing will be awarded based on necessity.
- Bottled water and food vouchers will be provided thought out the weekend.
- Main competition artists must be 18 years or older. Youth division artists must be 14 to 17 years old.
- Deadline to enter is March 31st, 2026. We will let you know the jury results by April 1st, 2026.
- Setup details will be communicated upon acceptance.
