2026 STATE FINALS REGISTRATION

STATE FINALS QUALIFIERS: Bowlers will qualify scratch from their youth league to the State Finals based on a ratio of 1:4 or major fraction thereof, including last place ties per division. QUALIFIERS must REGISTER THEIR squad TIME online (FEBRUARY 1-21) in order to bowl. Those who fail to register their squad time by Feb. 21 will be assigned their squad time. FORMAT: Entry fees were due back in January. One-time entry. U8 / U10 Format: Three games total on the same pair of lanes (Sat 9am squad only). U12 / U14 / U16 / U18 Format: Five games total moving pairs after each game. Total scratch pinfall will determine the champions for each division. Handicap scholarships will also be awarded per division (100% of 210 for the U12-U18 Divisions and 80% of 175 for the U8-U10 Divisions). The U12 and higher scratch divisions can earn one of eight berths into the 2026 USBC Junior Gold Championships in Minnesota (if they have not already previously qualified) along with a travel stipend up to $500 for Junior Gold travel to Minnesota and a Strike12Creations.com jersey (set CA design) to represent California. (The stipend and jersey will be voided if the champion does not attend Junior Gold.)

IT IS THE BOWLER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK ONLINE AT CALUSBC.COM TO SEE IF THEY QUALIFIED. Online registration requires the following information: center where you bowl league, squad choice, USBC MEMBERSHIP #, DIVISION and LAST FOUR SS# (U12 div and higher only). You will be contacted ONLY if there is a problem. Make sure your registration PROCESSED correctly – an AUTOMATED email will be sent to you from jotform. All registrations will be verified – Confirmed qualifiers will receive an official email by March 5 and names will also be posted online at CalUSBC.com. Contact your Youth Director for help if you don’t know the required information. E-mail registrations will NOT be accepted. Squad Selection*

The Sat 9am squad is dedicated to the U8/U10 divisions only. If the squad is small, we can open up those lanes for the U12+ division. If you are in the U12+ division and if lanes become available for the Sat 9am squad, please check below if you would like to move into that squad (this cannot be determined until after the RSVP window closes on Feb 21).
