Requirements To Join:

18 years of age or older, A high school diploma or GED, Conduct a background check, Must pay membership dues, Must not be an active member of a non-collegiate sorority or Divine Nine (D9) organization, Community service background or willingness to work in the community, Great character with integrity; must be able to uphold the principles, mission, and vision of Gamma Lambda Epsilon Sorority Inc. -----If your application is accepted and you are invited to proceed with intake, please be aware that you are not permitted to participate in our intake process while also engaging in the intake process of another Greek-letter organization. If we discover this is occurring, you will be removed from our intake process. Gamma Lambda Epsilon Sorority strictly prohibits members from participating in multiple intake processes or holding membership in more than one Greek-letter organization.

Membership Process & National Requirements Acknowledgment

By submitting this application, I acknowledge that I have reviewed and understand the Gamma Lambda Epsilon Sorority, Inc. Membership Process and the expectations outlined for all prospective members. I understand and agree to the following:

Membership Process Requirements
- The Membership Process is a 6‑week program beginning September 9, 2026 at 7pm est, with mandatory weekly virtual sessions and required assignments.
- I must complete all components, including: • Weekly participation • Virtual fundraiser
- 3 hours of community service (due one week before crossing)
- Final assessment
- Mandatory Virtual Oath Day/Ceremony on October 24, 2026 at 1 PM EST (attire: all white)
Financial Obligations
- Application Fee: $30
- Background Check: $22
- Membership Process Fee: $450 (due September 18, 2026)
- I understand that all fees are non‑refundable, and payment plans are available.
National Conference Requirement
- I acknowledge that attendance at the 2028 National Conference is mandatory for all new members to maintain Active Membership Status.
- I understand that failure to attend without an approved exemption may result in membership revocation.
