Printmaking: Exploring the Collagraph

About the Workshop:
Learn to create and print a fun collagraph plate using simple and recycled textural collage materials. Plenty of experimentation is involved, and encouraged. Participants can create an edition of prints, or variety of singles. There are endless possibilities!
All materials and supplies are included.
Day & Time: Thursday, February 12, 2:00 – 4:00pm
Place: 300 Evans Ave, Missoula MT 59801
Audience: This workshop is suitable for individuals 18+.
What to bring: Attendees are welcome to come with their own designs and ideas but no preparation is necessary.
Cost: The workshop is free, but a suggested donation is appreciated!
Registration: Registration is required and will close 24 hours before the workshop begins.

About the Artist:
Bev is a 4th -generation Montanan living and working in Missoula. She's been working as an art instructor and workshop facilitator for adults and children for over 35 years. She is also a studio artist whose work has been widely exhibited throughout Montana and the surrounding area. Bev served as adjunct faculty in drawing and printmaking at The University of Montana and at the former University of Great Falls. She is a co-founder/ member of the SALTMINE Artists group in Missoula.
She holds a BA degree in Art from the University of Idaho and a MFA degree in printmaking from the University of Montana.
