A Time to Share and Connect

 

Lay Leaders* from across the Pacific Mountain Region are warmly invited to a one-hour Zoom conversation on Monday, February 23 at 7:00 pm PST.

This gathering will bring lay leaders together to share experiences, learn from one another and reflect on specific topics that were identified by you at our last gathering. It is a chance to step beyond our individual congregations, hear different perspectives, and remember that we are not serving alone.

This is a conversation, for sharing, listening, and mutual encouragement. Whether your volunteer role is visible or behind the scenes, your voice and experience are welcome.

This will be a one-hour Zoom call, and you will be invited to choose a “Zoom breakout room” on a specific topic that interests you and then share (if you wish) with your small group in that breakout room.  If you have a specific topic you would like to have conversations about, please indicate the topic when you register for the Zoom gathering.

Some of the topics identified by you at our last gathering were: Messy Church, Thrift Store, Partnering with community organizations.

 *Lay leaders are non-clergy leaders (paid or volunteer) with various roles in their Community of Faith. Lay leaders include team leads and members, board or committee chairs and members, trustees, regional reps, and those who participate in various ministries as individuals or as groups such as pastoral care, outreach, justice, thrift stores, social enterprise, etc.
