Evaluation Turnaround & Cost
- Timeline: We reserve appointments each week for agency referrals. Respondents are typically scheduled within one week of intake completion, with reports finalized within one month of the evaluation appointment. Complex cases may require additional time.
- Cost: A flat fee of $2,500 covers the evaluation, interviews, testing, and report. In the rare event case complexity exceeds standard scope, we will obtain agency approval before proceeding.
- Payment: Invoiced directly to the referring department.
- Testimony: $300/hour with a three-hour minimum, conducted remotely via secure video. If in-person testimony is required, travel time is billed at $150/hour plus accommodation costs.
- Cancellation: A $500 fee applies to cancellations, missed appointments, or rescheduling within seven (7) court days. Cancellation fees are the agency's responsibility; appointments will not be rescheduled until paid.
Scheduling
We prioritize referrals from government agencies and aim to schedule evaluations within one week of completing the pre-evaluation requirements. Once complete, we will email you a link to a scheduling calendar.
Communication Policy
All communication, aside from interviews and testing, should be directed through the designated department representative. Please inform your client of this policy.
Remote-Only Evaluation Format
At Dr. Long & Associates, all psychological evaluations and parent-child observations are conducted exclusively via secure video conference. In-person services are not offered. Evaluations are completed through a HIPAA-compliant video platform, supported by a secure remote testing environment when needed.
Note: In many cases, substantial documentation from supervised visits already exists in the case record. These reports can be incorporated into the evaluation, often providing richer longitudinal data than a single in-person observation.
Technology Requirements
Clients may participate from any private location using a stable internet connection and a smartphone with a camera (or laptop with webcam). If client lacks personal access, agencies may arrange for evaluation from an agency office.

Dr. Lisa Long, Psy.D., is licensed and authorized to conduct psychological evaluations across the following jurisdictions:

- South Carolina (License #1502)
- Georgia (License #003742)
