Youth Artist Mentorship Application
Originating in Dawson Creek BC, the Dawson Creek Art Gallery, Kiwanis Performing Arts Centre, & Arts North East formed a region-wide Youth Artist Mentorship & Exhibition Program designed to support, elevate, and celebrate emerging artists across the Peace Region. This initiative connects practicing youth artists with established professional mentors working in the same artistic mediums, fostering meaningful growth, skill development, and career-building experience.

Applications are open region-wide to youth artists ages 10–19 in Northeastern BC. Selected participants will complete a two-month, one-on-one mentorship with a professional artist matched to their medium and goals, followed by a one-month exhibition on the DCAG pilot wall at KPAC, including a formal opening reception.

All applications will be thoroughly reviewed by members of the YAM Program, and selected applicants will be contacted at a future date. If you have any questions, please email youthartistmentorship@gmail.com .
