    The City of Moreno Valley Parks and Community Services Department is hosting its annual Moval Movies Summer Series at the Civic Center Amphitheater every Friday from  July 10th - August 7th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Due to the limited number of spaces available, spaces will be assigned according to event needs.   • Event Details: 

    MoVal Movies is an annual summer series in which city residents and visitors can enjoy free family-friendly movies at the new City Amphitheater every summer. Bring lawn chairs a blanket and snacks to enjoy and enjoy the show!

     

    • Date: Fridays, July 10th - August 7th 
    • Event Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
    • Location: Civic Center Amphitheater ( 14075 Frederick St.) 
    • Estimated Attendance: 300-500

    Vendor Details: 

    • Vendor Setup: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM 
    • Fire Inspection: 5:30 PM (Tenative)
    • Health Inspection: 5:30 PM (Tenative) 
    • Vendor Teardown: 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM 

    Event Vendor Pricing: 

    • Resident: $101.00
    • Non-Resident: $131.00

    What will be provided to vendors: 

    A 15x15 space reserved for your booth/truck/trailer. 

    If additional space is needed, please contact our special events emailing specialevents@moval.org. 

    Event Vendors will need to provide: 

    Setup/breakdwn of booth set and equipment such as: 

    • Canopy
    • Canopy Weights 
    • Chairs 
    • Tables 
    • Generators 
    • Fire Extinguishers 

    Please note: Ensure that you have all required equipment available for the health inspection. Additional details can be found in the Operator’s Guide, located within the Operator’s Agreement section of the application.

  • Food Vendor Application Requirements

    If a required document is not ready at submission, email it to the event coordinator when available. Some requirements are time-sensitive and must meet the deadline to ensure participation.   • Insurance Requirements:

    All insurance requirements must be submitted by June 9, 2026. All forms can be submitted to the event coordinator, Emily Mirafuentes, via email: emilym@moval.org.
  • Note: If you cannot provide the required insurance by June 9, 2026 the City can provide insurance for an additional fee. Please notify the event cooridnator if this applies to you.

    All participating vendors must have an active City of Moreno Valley business license.
    • If you do not have a business license and you are a non-resident, please contact the Moreno valley Business License Department for additional information.

    Please keep the event coordinator updated on the status of your Business License.

  • Generator Requirements: 

    In the interest of ensuring the highest standards of safety for all participants, vendors, and attendees, we would like to emphasize that any individual or organization intending to bring and operate a gas-powered generator on the premises is required to supply and maintain their own appropriate fire extinguisher.

    A payment link will be sent to the email your provided once all requirements have been met. Payments may be submitted online via ActiveNet or in person at the Conference and Recreation Center (14075 Frederick St, Moreno Valley, CA 92553) during business hours. Applications will not be fully approved until payment is received/

    The undersigned hereby covenants and agrees to hold the Moreno Valley Community Services District and all those related to the City of Moreno Valley, California ("the City"), and the officers, agents and employees thereof, free and harmless from any and all loss, damages, liability, and expenses which may arise in whole or in part out of the use of the Moreno Valley Community Services and the City of Moreno Valley property. The applicant agrees to furnish such liability or insurance for the protection of the public and the Moreno Valley Community Services District and the City of Moreno Valley as the City of Moreno Valley may require.


    I, the undersigned hereby certify that I will be personally responsible on behalf of the applicant for payment of all charges assessed for use of the specified premises and for any damages sustained by the area used, its equipment, building, or grounds occurring through the occupancy or use of said building and/or grounds by the applicant.


    I hereby certify that I have read and understand the regulations, conditions, and terms of facility use and that I and the applicant whom I represent, will abide by them and will conform to all applicable provisions of the constitution and laws of California and to all other directives of Moreno Valley Community Services District and the City of Moreno Valley and its authorized agents which may be communicated to the applicant.

  • Important Reminders: 


    Please note: It is the goal of the City of Moreno Valley to avoid multiple vendors selling the same/similar items, however there may be some exceptions to this rule. The Parks and Community Services Department will assign booth space location for all vendors/sponsors. The PCSD will assign booth space in no particular order and vendors may not choose booth space location. The PCSD will NOT provide electrical hookups. All applications are subject to approval by the PCSD.

    Additional Note: Political campaigning or promotion of any kind is strictly prohibited within the vicinity of the informational, retail and food vendor booths. This includes the distribution of campaign materials, solicitation for votes, or any activities aimed at endorsing a particular candidate or political agenda. The focus of the event should remain on providing relevant content or services to attendees, without engaging in partisan activities. Any violation of this policy may result in the removal of the booth from the event premises

    All events and programs are subject to change or cancellation.
