AWARD CATEGORIES

New Business of the Year: In business less than 2 years and show evidence of growth and staying power.

Legacy Award: a long-standing family-owned and operated business that has been in continuous operation for 15 or more years

Retail/Wholesale Business of the Year: In business more than 2 years and sells products in a retail and/or wholesale setting.

Service Business of the Year: In business more than 2 years and is in a service-related industry.

Young Entrepreneur of the Year: Owner/operator of a successful small business for more than 2 years. Individuals must be under the age of 40 as of September 1, 2026.

Financial Advocate of the Year: Individuals who assist small businesses by providing financial education and services and/or help small businesses obtain small business financing.

Healthcare Professional of the Year: Individuals, teams, or departments in the service area, who demonstrate exemplary patient care and dedication to their profession.

Small Business Philanthropy Award: a business or person who gives gifts of time, talent or treasure to improve the quality of life or economic development in their community.
