    Hockey SA is seeking individuals for regular shifts and casual shifts at upcoming events. Please complete this form and then a Hockey SA staff member will contact you to confirm any shift times, locations and further information.

  • EVENT OPPORTUNITIES

    These are known events for Hockey SA from April till June 2026. 

    We will require bar, canteen and ground staff at all listed events and often will need groundskeeper staff across the venue Friday, Saturday and Sundays.

    • CLUB/STATE TRAINING 

    • A few shifts may arise on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings from roughly 5pm - 9pm. These shifts are groundskeeper only shifts and are to open/close the facility, complete tasks outlined by Hockey SA and to assist patrons who are training in the facility.

      The indivdiuals scheduled for these shifts would have to be able to work independently and will be provided with a list of tasks to be completed during the shift. It is unlikely that there will be any other Hockey SA staff onsite during those shifts.

    • METRO COMPETITION GROUNDSKEEPER 

    • Metro Competition Dates and times will vary each week. Grounds staff will be required depending on fixtures most weeks for the following times: 

      Friday nights starting approximately 5pm

      Saturdays can be between 11am - 9pm 

      Sundays can be between 7am - 9pm

    • STATE COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

    • The State Country Championships will require 

      2x Canteen Staff 8am -5pm approx

      1x Bar Staff 8am -5pm approx

      1x Groundskeeper 8am - 5pm approx 

      This would be required on Saturday the 2nd of May and Sunday the 3rd of May.

    • Hockey SA will be hosting several other events that will require staff. 

      Under 13 and Under 15 Zone Championships 

      4th - 6th of July 

      Approximately 7am - 5pm 

      3x Canteen staff 

      2x Groundskeeper

       

      Under 17 Zone Championships 

      9th - 11th of October 

      Approximately 7am - 5pm 

      2x Canteen staff 

      2x Groundskeeper

       

      Hockey SA Metropolitan Competition Finals 

      Friday - Sunday from the 28th of August - 19th of September. 

       

      These events will be promoted for staff closer too. 

    • Hockey SA will endevour to confirm all shifts (dates & times) 2 weeks out from any event. You will be notified of shift times via email with a request for confirmation of receipt via email or text.
