    The Vision

One of Your Boys is an elevated queer psychological thriller that delves into the darker edges of creative obsession. Centered on a "sad-eyed" writer and a magnetic photographer, the story explores the blurred lines between artistic inspiration, desire, and the predatory nature of the muse. Following the critical success of our proof-of-concept short, I Would Be The Bullet—which premiered via Film Shortage to an audience of over 90,000—we are now expanding this visceral world into a feature-length cinematic experience.

Labor & Equity Strategy: Continuing the safety-first ethos of Bouy Films, we prioritize a professional and respectful environment for our collaborators.

    •  Day Rate: All crew members receive a flat, competitive rate of $300/day.

    •  Equity Participation: In our 20-Point Equity Pool model, department heads share in the film's long-term financial success through pro-rata profit participation.

    • Compliance: All collaborators are secured via written contracts under the Illinois Freelance Worker Protection Act.

The film dissects the commodification of the male body through art, commerce, pleasure, and violence. There are explicit sex scenes depicted that further the psychological tug of war between the protagonists as well as violent action sequences. Please be aware that there will be nudity, simulated sex scenes, simulated murder, and nightlife entertainment depicted.

If you are interested in working with us on this project please fill out the form below. Once we are in later stages of Pre-Production we will reach out to you first to confirm availability. Our goal is to begin Principal Photography by Summer 2027.
