Intergenerational Community Quilt Project

You’re invited to create, share, and belong!
We’re bringing together teens/young adults and elders in our community to create a community quilt that celebrates where we come from, our stories, and the connections between generations.

Come as you are. No prior art or quilting experience is needed.

Gather over food, music, and creating in a welcoming, accessible space. All materials provided.

I agree to participate in Springfield Cultural Partnership’s Woven Together intergenerational programming workshops where youth and older adults will come together to create a collective quilt. Partners for a Healthier Community, Inc. d/b/a Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts is funding this intergenerational work as part of an effort to improve intergenerational social connections in Springfield. I understand that photographs and videos may be taken during the program, which may be posted on websites and other social media platforms affiliated with Partners for a Healthier Community, Inc. d/b/a Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts. I acknowledge that I will be participating at my own risk and, on my own behalf, hereby release, discharge and indemnify Partners for a Healthier Community, Inc. d/b/a Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts and its subsidiaries from all liability for injury to my person or my property arising out of participation in, and transportation associated with Springfield Cultural Partnership.
