StartUp at CRAFT FESTIVAL WALES

We are delighted to announce the return of Craft Festival Wales, an award winning event for makers hosted at Cardigan Castle.

And we are proud to introduce a new area, StartUP.

Our aim is to support fledgling careers and to encourage and promote the latest creative talent.

Stands in the StartUP section are offered at a much reduced rate to Craft Festival's stands and create an outstanding opportunity for businesses of two years or less.

Your business must have started since 1 January 2024 for you to be eligible to apply for StartUP.

Craft Festival Wales is a collaborative celebration of making supported by leading arts organisations from Wales and beyond.

Craft Festival Wales will host 100 makers at Cardigan Castle featuring The Capital of Craft LIVE, Out of the Woods, demonstrations, exhibitions, workshops, children’s activities, live music, theatre & storytelling with satellite events hosted across the Town.

Applications are invited from makers working to the highest standards.⁠ ⁠You make ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery, metal, wood, plastics, mixed media, leather, recycled materials, printmaking and paper.⁠ ⁠No painting, photography, graphic design, musical instruments, candles or beauty products. Greetings cards are accepted as part of the range but not the sole product.

Your work shows a dedication to quality of making, presentation and originality.⁠ ⁠You live anywhere in the world. ⁠

StartUp yng Ngŵyl Grefft Cymru

Rydym wrth ein bodd yn cyhoeddi dychweliad Gŵyl Grefftau Cymru, digwyddiad arobryn i wneuthurwyr a gynhelir yng Nghastell Aberteifi.

Ac rydym yn falch o gyflwyno maes newydd, StartUP.

Ein nod yw cefnogi gyrfaoedd newydd ac annog a hyrwyddo'r dalent greadigol ddiweddaraf.

Cynigir stondinau yn adran StartUP am bris llawer is na stondinau Gŵyl Grefftau ac maent yn creu cyfle rhagorol i fusnesau sydd wedi bod yn 2 flynedd neu lai.

Rhaid bod eich busnes wedi dechrau ers 1 Ionawr 2024 er mwyn i chi fod yn gymwys i wneud cais am StartUP.

Mae Gŵyl Grefft Cymru yn ddathliad o wneud ar y cyd a gefnogir gan sefydliadau celfyddydau blaenllaw o Gymru a thu hwnt.

Bydd Gŵyl Grefft Cymru yn croesawu 100 o wneuthurwyr yng Nghastell Aberteifi a bydd yn cyflwyno The Capital of Craft YN FYW, Allan O’r Goedwig, arddangosiadau, arddangosfeydd, gweithdai, gweithgareddau i'r plant, cerddoriaeth fyw, theatr a dweud storïau, a bydd digwyddiadau ategol yn cael eu cynnal ar draws y Dref.

Gwahoddir ceisiadau gan wneuthurwyr sy'n gweithio i'r safonau uchaf.⁠ ⁠Rydych yn gwneud cerameg, gwydr, tecstilau, gemwaith, metel, pren, plastigion, cyfryngau cymysg, lledr, defnyddiau wedi'u hailgylchu, gwneud printiau a phapur.⁠ ⁠ Mae eich gwaith yn dangos ymrwymiad i ansawdd o ran gwneuthuriad, cyflwyniad a gwreiddioldeb.⁠ ⁠ Rydych yn byw yn unrhyw ran o'r byd. ⁠

The deadline to apply is 6pm Friday 27th March. For full application criteria please see the website. Stand package £195 + VAT.
A Stand Package includes:
- 6foot x 2foot Table Top stand
- Security Wrist Bands
- Image, 5 word description and 150 summary of your business, your email, social channels and website on our website.
- Company Name, email and website included in catalogue (no image)
- Credit card administration
- Event promoted via our newsletter sent to 25,000 subscribers.
- Extensive social media activity on Facebook and Instagram with 57K followers
- Extensive national and regional press and promotion campaign.
- Flyers and digital advertising materials to send to your clients.
- You may also book optional electrical sockets, chairs and an image in Craft Festival catalogue.
VAT is added to prices.

Please do not send any payment for a stand at this stage. You will be sent a stand booking form if selected. Please note that stand sharing is not permitted.

To be eligible you must have completed your graduate and/or post graduate qualifications. You may also be self taught.
