I understand that participation in the Highland Hustle Exercise Classes involves physical activity and carries inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, accident, or loss of personal property or income. Participation also includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness, injury and death does exist. I knowingly and voluntarily choose to participate, and I do so completely at my own risk.
I assume full responsibility for any injury, illness, damage, or loss that may occur to me, my family or my property or income as a result of my participation. I confirm that I am physically fit, able to participate safely, and have no medical condition that would prevent my participation. I agree to follow all instructions provided by instructors, staff, volunteers or administrators.
I authorize the organizers to seek emergency medical care on my behalf, if needed during my participation. I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of injury, accident, or illness during my participation.
In consideration of being permitted to participate, I hereby release, waive, and agree to hold harmless [Victoria] Nichols School of Highland Dance, its owners, instructors, staff, volunteers, representatives, and affiliates (the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation, including those resulting from negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This waiver is binding upon me and my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.
