Are you a skilled boater looking for a professional bridge to commercial guiding? Each three day session of our no-fee internship program provides 30 volunteer service hours, a staff shirt, public acknowledgement, and elite-level experience on the South Fork American River. Interns assist our commercial outfitter 'WET' with everything from pre-river prep to on-river logistics. While you won't be guiding Class III rapids yet, you'll be an essential part of the team, assisting with rigging, boat topping and safety drills. Interns assist WET starting with packing of the trip the first morning, and your day continues until the boats are tied to the trailer at the end of the day. Experience may lead to tip-sharing or offer of employment in the industry. Start your professional journey with the Intern program that values you as invaluable!
