Chili Cook-Off Rules
All competing entries must be submitted by 12:00 PM on February 27th, 2026.
All entries must be homemade.
Any chili is welcome to enter, traditional or non-traditional including; meatless, bean-less, chicken, or turkey chili, etc.
There will be no food prep on location. Chili must be fully cooked to be entered.
Please bring your own ladle or other serving utensil.
Please bring chili in a crock pot before evening church begins. Entries will be accepted between 4:45 and 5:15 pm on Sunday, March 1st.
Crock Pots will be plugged in and left on "warm" setting until 6:30 pm when judging begins, after judging supper will be served.
Garnishes such as, cheese, sour cream, Fritos, and crackers will be provided by FBCO. If you have a different garnish that you require for your chili you will need to provide that yourself.
Labels will be provided day of.
Immediately after evening service contestants must prepare three samples, with any garnishes needed, for judging.
Spoons and bowls for judging and lunch will be supplied.

- Appearance
- Taste
- Aroma
- Spice
- Creativity
Two sets of awards will be given for First, Second, and Third place winners, they will be chosen by the judges and by people’s choice.
