The Artist will respond to the phrase and title of the exhibit, 'fruit of our labors'.
Artists are invited to contemplate this new twist to the common phrase and contemplate its meaning, especially as it relates to the bounty of the Willamette Valley and it's people. Subject matter that is realistic, imagined, or abstract is welcome.
Artwork will be selected based on how it fits with the theme of the show, the aesthetic quality of the work, the intention of the work, and skill and proficiency in medium."
This call is open to all mediums except for video art and installations. Two-dimensional artwork should not exceed 36” in any dimension, regardless of medium. All two-dimensional work must be framed and ready to hang with a hanging wire attached to the back. Three-dimensional works must fit within a 2ft wide x 3ft tall x 10in deep space and not exceed 50lbs.
