1. Purpose. Gift certificates are offered to support Gallatin Community Gun Club’s charitable mission by providing advance payment for programs, training, membership, and merchandise while offering community members a flexible gifting option.
2. Eligible Uses. Gift certificates may be redeemed only for Gallatin Community Gun Club programs, classes, training, or merchandise approved by the Board of Directors. Gift certificates may not be redeemed for cash or cash equivalents.
3. Non-Refundable / No Cash Value. Gift certificates are non-refundable, have no cash value, and may not be exchanged for cash, check, credit, or refunds.
4. Expiration. Gift certificates expire twelve (12) months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
5. Transferability. Gift certificates are transferable and may be used by the recipient or another individual with the purchaser’s consent.
6. Tax Treatment. Gift certificate purchases are not tax-deductible. No charitable contribution receipt will be issued for gift certificate purchases.
7. Lost / Stolen Certificates. Lost, stolen, or destroyed gift certificates will not be replaced unless the original purchase can be verified and the certificate has not yet been redeemed.
8. Redemption Process. Gift certificates must be presented at the time of registration or purchase and are subject to availability and scheduling requirements of the applicable program or class.
9. Accounting & Recordkeeping. Unredeemed gift certificates shall be recorded as deferred revenue until redeemed or expired. The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining records of issued, redeemed, and expired certificates.
10. Authority & Exceptions. Any exception to this policy must be approved by the Treasurer or Board of Directors and documented in the organization’s financial records.
GCGC reserves the right to deny redemption if use would conflict with the organization’s safety standards, code of conduct, or mission.
