Thank you for your interest in serving at Wake Youth Camp 2026 as a part of the Rec Crew!
WHAT IS REC CREW?
A Rec Crew Member serves as part of the Wake Youth Camp operations team and helps make the entire camp experience run smoothly behind the scenes. Rec Crew members lead and manage camp games, assist with setup and
teardown of activities, and support various operational areas such as production, merchandise sales, and programmed events. They stay in separate sleeping quarters from students and are not assigned to oversee a specific church group.
Rec Crew members apply in advance and are selected through an application process, with not all applicants being accepted. Those selected come independently of their church and commit to serving for the full duration of both Week 1 and Week 2 of camp.
Camp Sessions:
- Week 1: June 5 - 9
- Week 2: June 9 - 13
Both sessions will be held at Boxwoods at Camp Cho-Yeh in Livingston, TX and will offer the same camp experience. Camp is open to students entering 7th grade this fall through the Class of 2026.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:
- Anyone interseted in serving on the Wake Youth Camp Rec Crew must complete this application. Completing this application is not a guarantee of selection for Wake Youth Camp Rec Crew.
- Rec Crew must be 18 years or older and have graduated high school as of 2026 to serve at camp. Obviously, you should be a practicing Christian.
- If selected for Wake Youth Camp Rec Crew, we will run a background check on your behalf. You will also need to undergo child protection training prior to camp.
- In order to serve on Rec Crew, you'll need to pay $560 to cover your food, lodging, and merch. Many who have served at Wake Youth Camp in the past view this as a missions trip - you are pointing these students to the gospel of Jesus Christ. You might consider inviting others to financially partner with you in securing funds for this experience.
- Those selected for Rec Crew must complete a General Staff Registration Form that provides us with health history and other important information. If you are selected, you will be provided a link to this form.
- Please note that all items marked with an asterisk (*) are required in order for the form to be submitted.
- Completing this form will take 15-20 minutes.
