The Institute of Accreditation for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting Programs (LAMEMBA)
1. Background
The Institute of Accreditation for Economics, Management, Business and Accounting Programs (LAMEMBA) invites distinguished academics and senior professionals from around the world to apply as Peer Review Team.
Peer Review Team will play a key role in supporting LAMEMBA’s mission to ensure and enhance the quality of higher education through peer-review–based accreditation processes aligned with international standards and best practices.
2. Role and Responsibilities
LAMEMBA Peer Review Team are expected to:
- Conduct independent, objective, and evidence-based evaluations of higher education institutions and study programs.
- Participate in document reviews, site visits (on-site or virtual), and panel discussions.
- Prepare clear, analytical, and well-structured assessment reports in English.
Apply internationally recognized principles of quality assurance, peer review, and academic integrity.
- Adhere strictly to LAMEMBA’s Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Policy.
3. Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
A. Academic Qualifications
- Hold a Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Economics, Management, Business, Accounting (EMBA) or closely related disciplines from an accredited higher education institution.
- Be a full-time or former senior academic staff member (e.g., Associate Professor / Professor or equivalent rank).
- Demonstrate experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, quality assurance, or accreditation activities at institutional or program level.
B. Accreditation Experience and Core Competencies
- Proven experience as a peer reviewer, assessor, evaluator, or panel member in International accreditation and quality assurance bodies.
- Strong understanding of international quality assurance frameworks, outcome-based education, and continuous quality improvement.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to:
- Participate actively in peer-review discussions, and prepare professional accreditation and assessment reports in English.
- Strong analytical, evaluation, and academic writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in international and multicultural peer-review teams.
C. Integrity, Independence, and Ethical Standards
- Demonstrated academic integrity, independence, and objectivity.
No current or recent (within the last five years) conflict of interest with higher education institutions under evaluation.
- Willingness to comply with LAMEMBA’s Code of Ethics, confidentiality policies, and Peer Review Team regulations.
- Written approval from the applicant’s home institution (submitted upon acceptance).
4. Required Application Documents
Applicants are required to submit:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) including academic background, professional experience, and accreditation involvement.
- Evidence of accreditation or quality assurance experience (certificates, appointment letters, or references).
- Letter of Recommendation (Optional)
5. Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Administrative screening of submitted documents.
- Panel interview (online).
- Mandatory Peer Review Team Orientation and Training.
- Formal appointment as LAMEMBA Peer Review Team.
