  • Stop the Bleed

    Stop the Bleed is a public health education program that teaches evidence-based bleeding control techniques, including direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet use. Participants learn how to respond effectively to severe bleeding emergencies and provide care until professional medical assistance arrives, supporting individual and community safety. Completion of registration and payment is required to reserve a seat.

  • Registration Requirements: This class is open to non-members and GCGC members.

    Class Prerequisite: None

    Class Requirements: Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook/pen to take notes.

    Class Location: Class location will be provided upon registration confirmation.

    Class Fee: $10.00

    • Class fees help cover classroom and course materials.
    • Class payment is due at booking via credit card.

  • 1. Description of Medical and Health Education Activities

    I understand that I am voluntarily participating in a medical or health-related education class that may include instruction, demonstrations, discussion, and hands-on practice related to first aid, emergency response, preparedness, wellness, or similar topics.

    2. Nature of Participation and Training Environment

    I understand that participation may involve physical activity, close interaction with others, and simulated or real-world training scenarios.

    3. Acknowledgment of Inherent Risks

    I acknowledge that participation in medical and health education activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical discomfort, minor injury, emotional stress, or aggravation of pre-existing conditions.

    4. Assumption of Risk

    I knowingly, voluntarily, and freely assume all risks, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable, arising from my participation.

    5. Educational Purpose Only – No Medical Advice

    I understand that this class is educational only and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or individualized medical advice.

    6. Participant Responsibility and Health Readiness

    I acknowledge that instructors, facilitators, and volunteers are not acting as my healthcare providers. I am responsible for determining my own physical and mental readiness to participate and for seeking medical advice if needed.

    7. Release and Waiver of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the Organization, its directors, officers, employees, instructors, facilitators, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation, including but not limited to:

    • Personal injury
    • Illness or medical complications
    • Emotional distress
    • Property damage
    • Whether caused by negligence or otherwise, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

    8. Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement

    I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organization from any loss, liability, damage, or cost, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from my participation or from claims brought by me or on my behalf.

    9. Voluntary Participation and Compliance with Guidelines

    I understand that participation is voluntary and that I may withdraw at any time. I agree to follow all instructions, safety guidelines, and behavioral expectations. Failure to do so may result in removal from the class.

    10. Governing Law

    This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the class is held.

  • Photo & Media Release

  • I grant permission to Gallatin Community Gun Club (GCGC) to photograph or record me during this class for educational, promotional, or informational purposes.

    I understand that these images or recordings may be used in print, on the GCGC website, social media, marketing materials, or other communications without compensation.

    I acknowledge that my participation is voluntary and that I may request not to be photographed or recorded by notifying instructors or staff prior to or during the event.

    I release Gallatin Community Gun Club, its officers, instructors, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims related to the use of these images or recordings.
