VPMA Summer Conference:The Virginia Podiatric Medical Association 2026 Summer Scientific Seminar will be held at the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort, August 20-22, 2026. We are looking forward to returning to the beach! The Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront is located at 4201 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23451.

General sessions for Doctors of Podiatric Medicine will begin at 8:00 am on Thursday, August 20 and the meeting will adjourn at 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 22. This new, condensed schedule gives you the option to relax and enjoy the beautiful resort on Sunday or head home early to get a jump on the week ahead.

To record attendance, DPMs will be required to have their name badges scanned at the beginning of each morning and each afternoon session. Failure to follow the posted scanning times may result in non-certification of continuing education hours. Attendees may claim continuing education contact hours only for those contact hours actually attended.

The Virginia Podiatric Medical Association has been approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. The  Virginia  Podiatric  Medical Association  has  approved this activity for a maximum of 25 continuing education contact hours.

Registration fees for this meeting include continental breakfasts, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks and lunch for the Seminar attendee only. Guests and spouses may be registered to participate in meal functions for an additional fee.

Medical Assistants Program: The MA program is scheduled for Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22. Registration for this program is $160 (early bird rate). Register using the form below.

Radiologic Technologist Certification Course & Examination: The purpose of this course is to certify individuals to complete X-rays in a safe and effective manner. The process includes course attendance, a written examination, and documentation of completion of 20 foot and 20 ankle X-rays assisted by the practitioner. Upon completion, individuals are instructed to seek licensure with the Virginia Board of Medicine as a Radiologic Technologist-limited. To register, do not complete the form below; please use THIS FORM instead. The course will be held virtually on Saturday and the exam will be on Sunday.
