Individual Membership including insurance benefits is designed for dance artists, dance teachers and dance leaders providing community and participatory dance – either as a main focus or as part of a broader portfolio of work.

The following activities are NOT covered: Yoga, Martial arts (inc. Capoeira), Aerobics, Acrodance, Trapeze, Aerial work, Pole dancing, Stunting, Gymnastics, Zumba with weights, Aqua Zumba. Dance Movement Therapy may be covered as part of a broader dance practice, but not if it is the main focus of your work.

The Professional Code of Conduct translates the core values of community dance into standards of ethical and responsible practice to which community dance professionals adhere.

Payment plans

The payments you make under this payment plan are non-refundable if you cancel your payment plan, unless Foundation for Community Dance trading as People Dancing fails in its duties to you as a Member, subject to our Complaints Policy.

If instalments are missed, for any reason, your membership and insurance benefits cover for your dance teaching work will cease with immediate effect.
