    • Excursion Selection
    • Excursion Selection

    • On Monday, April 27, 2026, our group embarks on two different excursions in the morning before meeting up for a combined group lunch. Please read the full descriptions prior to making your selections.

      Stingray City Sandbar Catamaran Sail
Sail on a catamaran out to Stingray City, a shallow sandbar that is about 3'-4’ deep and located at North Sound. Many tales have been told of the fishermen who would anchor their boats to clean their catch before making their way to the shore. The fish and squid that were tossed overboard made the sandbar a perfect feeding ground for Southern Atlantic Stingrays. This, in return, boosted the stingray population. Soon after, the stingrays began associating the sound of boats with food. Today, Stingray City is a popular destination that gives visitors an opportunity to have an up-close and personal experience with these amazing creatures. Though the stingrays are wild, they are very playful. According to local folklore, a kiss from a stingray brings seven years of good luck!

Following your stingray interaction, you will sail on the catamaran to Rum Point for a combined group lunch. After lunch, guests will be transferred back to The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman via shuttle to relax in the air conditioning after a full day of fun in the sun.

Blue Iguanas and Crystal Caves Tour
On this excursion, guests will visit the Blue Iguanas at the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, followed by a tour of the Crystal Caves. Naturalists will guide you through Botanic Park as you learn all about the rare, endangered Grand Cayman Blue Iguana—found nowhere else in the world. During your tour of the Crystal Caves, you will discover more about the rocks and minerals of the Cayman Islands and how these islands were formed. Please note that it will be very sunny and hot on this tour. Water and light snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, and cold towels will be provided.

Clear-bottom double kayaks make sure you don’t miss a moment of the action above or below the water. The three-hour tour includes a briefing at the Ambassadors of the Environment building (located on the Ritz-Carlton property) and a short golf cart ride from that building to the kayak dock, which is located on the opposite side of the resort.
