Thank you for your interest in hosting an intern through Wildscreen's Environmental Storytellers Programme.
The programme is supporting 10 paid traineeships in wildlife film and TV as well as the wider environmental communications sector for young people from underrepresented backgrounds.
We are looking for 6, UK based, organisations to partner with on the programme and host a trainee. Please note that host organisations must be registered UK companies with a minimum of two employees.
Host organisations will receive:
- Access to a diverse applicant pool of passionate environmental storytellers.
- Tailored advice, resources and guidance on ethical and inclusive recruitment.
- Support with recruiting the right candidate for the role.
- Support and guidance on delivering effective, valuable mentorship to nurture the next generation of talent.
- Funding to support wages for a 210-hour traineeship at Real Living Wage.
- Funding to cover a percentage of overhead employment costs to support the traineeship.
