2026 Academic Scholarships

VENA is providing academic scholarships to members for ongoing education.

Available to: Any current ENA member that holds a current RN unencumbered license (no restrictions) in the Commonwealth of Virginia or a compact multi-state RN unencumbered license (no restrictions) including the District of Columbia.

Award Amount: $1000 scholarship will be awarded to 3 members. The scholarship can be used for advancing education through an accredited nursing program, TNCC, ENPC, TNAC, ENTEP and other ENA courses available through ENA University. Non-ENA branded courses are excluded. 

Due Date: February, 21 2026

Eligilibity Requirements: 

• Resume/CV
• Essay

Please answer the following questions in essay form (no more than 750 words):

• Please explain why you are interested in the Virginia ENA Academic Scholarship.
• How will this scholarship help to achieve your goals and further your career in Emergency Nursing?

All submissions must be completed electronically.

Recipients will be notified by March 1, 2026. 

Disclaimers:

• Only completed applications will be reviewed.
• Scholarship MUST be used by December 31, 2026.
• Virginia ENA Board members are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. 
• Funds will be reimbursed from Virginia ENA with submission of course/semester transcript AND receipt of payment.
