2026 National Conference Scholarships
The Virginia State Council of the Emergency Nurses Association (VENA) is providing scholarships for members to attend ENA's National Conference in Phoenix, AZ; September 28, 2026 - October 1, 2026.
Available to: Any current ENA member that holds a current RN unencumbered license (no restrictions) in the Commonwealth of Virginia or a compact multi-state RN unencumbered license (no restrictions) including the District of Columbia that is attending the 2026 National Conference.
Award Amount: $720 will be awarded to 8 members for travel/conference expenses to the 2026 National Conference.
Due Date: April 5, 2026
Eligilibity Requirements:
Please answer the following questions in essay form (no more than 750 words):
Please explain your current involvement within the Virginia ENA and why it is important to you? If you are not involved, please state how you intend to participate in the future. What do you intend to gain from attending the ENA 2026 National Conference?
All submissions must be completed electronically.
Recipients will be notified by April 26, 2026.

- Only completed applications will be reviewed.
- Virginia ENA Board members are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Scholarships will be awarded based on applications received. If more than 8 applications, the grading rubric will be utilized.
- If you receive scholarship money from National ENA, you are NOT ELIGIBLE for the Virginia ENA National Conference Scholarship.
- THIS SCHOLARSHIP HAS NO BEARING ON DELEGATE SELECTION OR REIMBURSEMENT.
Evaluation Criteria Grading Rubric:
1. Essay 20 total points
2. Resume/CV 20 total points
3. ENA Member < 5 years 10 total points
4. First Time Attendee (EN26) to National Conference 20 total points
5. Special Interest Group (SIG) OR Committee involvement 30 total points
