What's your first choice? Second? Third? Please re-order the list to rank your preferences.
*
This field is required.
For example, if Director is your first choice, drag and drop that to the #1 spot. If Actor is your second choice, drag and drop that to the #2 spot, etc.
We especially need DIRECTORS!
More Directors means more opportunities for Playwrights and therefore juicier stage time for Actors!
Do I need to rank my preferences if I'm only interested in one role?
Yes, please. Collaboration, coming together with a common goal, supporting a cherished arts institution, meeting new theatre artists, and celebrating the work of a local photographer are the main goals of this event. We are going to make some amazing theatre together! Didn't get your first choice this year but gamely join in anyway with your second or third choice? Then we'll keep that stellar collaborative spirit in mind for future years and hopefully we can place you in your first choice then! We have had great success in placing folks in their first or second choice. We VERY rarely have to place someone in their third choice. (And the only reason we have you rank all four options is because of how the online form is designed. No one will be placed in their fourth choice!) For technical theatre folks who rank Stage Manager as their first choice: we ALWAYS need Stage Managers and have never asked someone who ranked Stage Manager first to do something else instead.

If you are selected as a PLAYWRIGHT, are you interested in doubling up as an ACTOR, DIRECTOR, or STAGE MANAGER?
*
This field is required.
Please check any of the roles you would consider IN ADDITION TO playwriting. You would only be assigned ONE.
Actor
Director
Stage Manager
If I'm selected as a Playwright, that will be plenty for me, thanks.
I did not rank Playwright as my first, second, or third choice so this question does not apply to me.

Do you have Access Needs to share with the Producer of Photo/Plays?
*
This field is required.
An access need is something a person needs to be able to communicate, learn, or take part in an activity. [For example, not all levels of The Smith Opera House are fully accessible to those for whom stairs are challenging or impossible to navigate. It would be helpful to know in advance if someone is unable to navigate stairs so we can make sure they are rehearsing in one of the ground floor spaces and that we have ample time to make sure the stage itself is accessible.] If you do not have any Access Needs at this time, please type NONE. If you would like to further discuss Access Needs with the Producer, please email (flphotoplays@gmail.com).

If you have participated in previous Finger Lakes Photo/Plays, would you please share 2-3 sentences about why you would encourage folks to participate?
This is totally optional! But in the community spirit of this event, we'd love to showcase why YOU encourage folks to join us. Not sure what to write? Consider one of the following questions: What was the most memorable or surprising thing about Photo/Plays? How would you describe the energy or atmosphere or vibe of this event? How did this event expand your work as an artist or get you out of your comfort zone? What is it like to work in The Smith Opera House for an event like this?
Please note:
We will share selected responses on social media. THANK YOU!
