CSU Iran Solidarity Fund – Bursary Application
Important information:
The Iran Solidarity Fund provides limited emergency financial assistance to Iranian international undergraduate students at Concordia University who are experiencing demonstrated financial need. The deadline for applications shall be 5pm on Monday, February 9th, 2026. This fund is limited to twenty (20) grants of $500 each for the Winter 2026 Semester. Applications will be assessed solely on demonstrated financial need. Because resources are limited, students are encouraged to apply only if they are in genuine need, so that assistance may reach as many students as possible. All information provided in this application will remain strictly confidential and will only be accessed by members of the CSU Iran Solidarity Fund Ad-Hoc Committee. All application data will be securely stored and permanently deleted following Council ratification of the final recipients list. Recipient enrolment will be verified with the Office of Student Life and Engagement prior to the distribution of funds. Successful applicants will be required to provide a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and void cheque or direct deposit banking information in order to receive bursary funds. This information will be collected only after provisional selection, used solely for the purpose of processing payments, and handled in accordance with CSU privacy and data protection standards. Failure to provide this information will result in ineligibility for disbursement, even if the application is otherwise approved.
