Program Objective: To empower athletes as ambassadors for men's mental health and suicide prevention, while providing them with resources to enhance their careers and personal impact.
Program Eligibility: Open to professional, semi-professional, or amateur athletes in around the world who demonstrate a commitment to social causes.
Grants available:
Financial Grants: for Athletes for training, equipment, or travel related to advocacy and sporting events. Funded through donations to Safety Drive's Athlete Initiative.
Publicity and Networking: Feature athletes on Safety Drive's website, social media, and events
Resources and Training: Access to mental health workshops, resilience-building programs, and harm prevention toolkits to equip ambassadors with accurate information.
1. Program Description and Participation
1.1 The Athlete hereby agrees to participate in the Program as an ambassador for the Organisation's mission, which focuses on strengthening men's wellbeing, connection, and resilience through mentorship, community outreach, and guidance.
1.2 The Organisation will create a personal account for the Athlete on the Organisation's GoFundMe Athlete Support Program to raise awareness and solicit donations for the Safety Drive Athlete Initiative.
1.3 By joining, the Athlete commits to sharing their personal story, setting fundraising goals, and inviting their community to make tax-deductible donations. Donation are automatically tracked to the Athlete via a unique sharing link for the Athlete.
Donations are tax-deductible for residents of the USA, Australia, Canada, Ireland, and the UK, and are processed securely through PayPal Giving Fund.
