Art, History, and Museum: Join Al Clark for a rich exploration of art, culture, and storytelling through some of Southern California’s most fascinating museums. This group will visit the Simon, Bowers, Broad, and Riverside/Cheech Marin museums, along with two additional museums selected together by the group from the Fowler, Getty, Getty Villa, MOCA, and MOLAA. Each Sunday after church, we’ll share lunch together before carpooling to the museum of the day. Along the way, we’ll enjoy conversation, learn from one another, and encounter art that stretches our minds, deepens our appreciation of history, and sparks meaningful reflection. Whether you’re an art enthusiast, a history lover, or simply curious to experience world‑class museums in good company, this is a welcoming space to explore, connect, and discover something new each week. Led by: Al Clark (More details will be shared upon sign-up) / Location: Museums as scheduled / Ages: Youth & Adults / Day/Time: Sunday, February 22, March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 | 10:45 a.m.

WHAT? Women Happily Aging Together: During this period of Lenten reflection we will initially meet and discuss some of the particular challenges of women aging and find strength, wisdom and inspiration from each other. We will follow this meeting with a series of ‘field trips’ or outings to cultural and community institutions together, having fun, building relationships, and stretching ourselves beyond our normal routines. We will ride the Metro into Pasadena and LA, visit a museum and have lunch. During the initial meeting we’ll go over the outings so folks will have enough knowledge to know if they are interested in joining us. Participants may attend any or all of the outings. Some outings may have a participant capacity.Because this group includes a variety of outings and experiences, times and locations will vary. Details will be shared in advance so participants can decide which events work best for them. Location: First Meeting will be held in the Social Hall / Ages: Adults / Day/Time: Sunday, February 22, March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 | 10:45 a.m.
