Hidden Creatives exists to uplift emerging creatives, foster connection, and create safe, respectful experiences inside creative spaces across Tulsa. Participation in the event means agreeing to the following guidelines.

Community Code (Applies to Everyone)

• Respect is non-negotiable.
  Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or abusive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
  
  
• This is a learning-friendly space.
  Many creatives are early in their careers. Feedback should be supportive, constructive, and invited—not critical or dismissive.
  
  
• Consent matters.
  Always ask before touching artwork, equipment, or entering restricted areas of a space.
  
  
• We protect people first.
  Any behavior that makes creatives, hosts, or attendees feel unsafe may result in removal from the event without refund.
  
  
• Hidden Creatives reserves the right to remove artwork, creatives, or attendees who violate these standards.

Rules for Creatives & Hosts

Paid Entry Policy (No Double Charging)

All attendees have already paid a $15 Hidden Creatives entry fee for access to participating studios, homes, performances, and creative spaces.

Creatives, hosts, businesses, and creatives may not charge attendees an additional entry, cover, class, or participation fee on-site.

This includes (but is not limited to) door fees, studio access fees, or required payments to view work or attend performances.

• Optional donations are permitted.
  
  
• Sales of artwork, merchandise, food, or tickets to future events are permitted.
  
  
• Mandatory or required fees for access are strictly prohibited.

Any creative, host, business, or creative found charging attendees a second mandatory fee will be removed from the Hidden Creatives event and may be denied future participation.

This policy exists to protect attendees, ensure fairness across all locations, and maintain trust within the Hidden Creatives community.

Safety & Space Use

• Creatives and hosts are responsible for maintaining a reasonably safe environment for visitors (clear walkways, secured hazards, etc.).
  
  
• Hosts must clearly communicate which areas are public and which are private within their space.
  
  
• Creatives are not required to invite attendees inside their homes—outdoor, garage, or shared-space setups are fully valid.
  
  
• All participating locations must have permission from the property owner to host the event.

Artwork & Content Guidelines

• Artwork must not promote or glorify:
  
  
  • Hate or violence toward any group or individual
    
    
  • Sexual violence, abuse, or exploitation
    
    
  • Explicit sexual content involving minors
    
    
• Sensitive or challenging themes (e.g., political, social, or personal topics) are allowed when presented thoughtfully and responsibly.
  
  
• Hidden Creatives may request content warnings or decline work that poses a risk to attendee safety or well-being.

Respecting Emerging creatives

• Hosts must treat all participating creatives as equals—no exploitative arrangements, unpaid labor, or pressure to discount work.
  
  
• Hosts must pass 100% of artwork sales directly to creatives during the event, as stated in the FAQ.
  
  
• Credit creatives clearly and accurately in signage, promotion, and conversation.

Sales, Performances & Experiences

• Entry into studios and access to live performances must remain free for paid attendees.
  
  
• Optional donations are allowed; mandatory fees are not.
  
  
• Selling physical artwork, merchandise, or tickets to future events is encouraged.

Professional Conduct

• Creatives and hosts must adhere to their listed open hours whenever possible.
  
  
• Creatives are responsible for their own work, displays, and transactions.
  
  
• Any disputes between creatives and hosts should be handled respectfully and privately.

 

Final Note 

Hidden Creatives is built on trust, generosity, and community care. These rules exist not to restrict creativity—but to protect it, especially for creatives sharing their work publicly for the first time.

HIDDEN CREATIVES
SOLO CREATIVE PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

This Agreement is entered into by and between Pixel Pop, LLC, doing business as Hidden Creatives (“Organizer”) and the undersigned creative (“Solo Creative” or “Creative”).

By registering for and participating in the Hidden Creatives Studio Tour, Creative agrees to the following:

1. EVENT DETAILS

The Hidden Creatives Studio Tour is a two-day public event held on May 23rd and 24th, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM each day. The event consists of independently operated studio locations open to the public.

2. SOLO Creative STATUS & INDEPENDENT OPERATION

Creative acknowledges and agrees that:

• Creative is participating as a Solo Creative
• Creative controls and operates their own studio or exhibition location
• Creative hosts no other artists
• Creative operates independently and is not an employee, agent, partner, or representative of Organizer
• Organizer does not own, lease, manage, inspect, supervise, or control Creative’s location.

3. FEES

$25 participation fee

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing by Organizer.

4. RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOCATION & SAFETY

Creative is solely and fully responsible for:

• The safety, cleanliness, accessibility, and suitability of their location
• Compliance with all applicable laws, fire codes, zoning rules, HOA rules, and landlord or venue requirements
• All artwork, displays, cords, tools, equipment, entryways, and potential hazards
• Any injury, damage, loss, or incident occurring at their location
• Organizer has no responsibility for the condition, safety, legality, or operation of Creative’s space.

5. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Creative understands that participation in a public event involves inherent risks and voluntarily assumes all risks related to participation, including injury, theft, damage, or interaction with the public.

6. RELEASE, WAIVER & INDEMNIFICATION

Creative hereby releases, waives, and agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Pixel Pop, LLC d/b/a Hidden Creatives, its owners, officers, volunteers, affiliates, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from or related to:

• Creative’s location or property
• Creative’s artwork, setup, or activities
• Injury to any person or damage to any property at Creative’s location
• Creative’s failure to comply with laws or this Agreement
• Organizer bears zero liability for Creative’s space, property, or activities.

7. INSURANCE (RECOMMENDED)
Organizer does not provide insurance coverage. Creative is encouraged to obtain liability insurance but remains personally responsible for all claims.

8. SALES & TAX RESPONSIBILITY
Creative is solely responsible for all artwork sales, pricing, tax collection, and legal compliance.

9. PROMOTIONAL USE
Creative grants Organizer permission to use Creative’s name, studio address, and artwork images for event promotion. Copyright remains with Creative.

10. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma.
