                    Prizes on the day: Extra Spot Prizes, Skipper Draws, Mystery weight & Best dressed teams.

    Categories:
    Snapper – Average Weight and Mystery.
    Mystery Weight & Average Weight for all other species: Kingfish, Trevally, Kahawai, John Dory, Gurnard, Piper, Yellowtail & Parore.

    Entry Fees
    Members: $40.00
    Non-Members: $50.00
    Final Registration: 4pm Wednesday 18th March
    Start Time: 7am Friday 20th March
    Weigh in: Friday 20th at Salty Towers between 3.30 – 5.30PM.

    Saturday 21st March between 2.30pm-5pm.

    You must be in line by 4pm no exceptions.
    Weigh Station: Coromandel Rugby Club


    Any unwanted or unclaimed fish will be given to CILT.

    Prize Giving: Coromandel Rugby Club at 6pm Saturday 21st March.
    ONLY 2 fish per species per person over both days.

    First 50 ladies registered by 4pm 28th February will receive a boat starter pack.
    This is to be picked up at the briefing from 6pm Thursday 19th March at the Top Pub.
     
     
    Terms and Conditions: You must be 18 and Older. Wristbands must be worn at both weigh in’s and Prize Giving Evening.

    First and Last name for all entries and Skippers (to avoid confusion).


    Briefing to be held from 6pm at the Top Pub Thursday 19th, Starter packs will be given to the first 50 Entrees.  
    (payment must be received to be classed as an Entrant).
     
    Friday weigh-in at Salty Towers between 3.30pm  – 5.30pm
    Saturday’s weigh-in between 2.30pm and 5pm and Prize giving 6pm at The Coromandel Rugby Club.
     
    You can fish both days however if you weigh fish in on the Friday you cannot swap with fish caught on the Saturday.


    ONLY two fish per species per person to be weighed in.


    You need to be dressed at prize giving, but dressing up is optional.
     
    As in previous years those in costume will be asked to preform but again this is optional, however teams will be asked to show your costumes as we have a people choice prize.
     
    The coromandel Recreational Fishing club reserves the right to postpone the Tournament at 5pm on the 19th of March 2026. In the case of bad weather and the tournament is cancelled, all prizes will be given away as ‘Spot Prizes” at the Prize giving time on the 21st of March 2026. To be eligible for the spot prizes, competitors must be present when they are drawn at prize giving. If any competitors are not present, the spot prize will immediately be redrawn.
