NOTO Resident Artist Application
The NOTO Art Center is excited to announce the 2026 Resident Artist Opportunity aimed at supporting emerging artists in their creative journeys while fostering a vibrant arts community. This program is designed to provide selected artists with the resources, space, and support needed to develop their artistic practice and launch their art careers and businesses. Applications are due April 30, 2026, and Award will be announced May 15, 2026. Residency begins June 1, 2026 and ends May 30, 2027.

I understand that if awarded this residency, I will need to volunteer at least 32 hours per month volunteer time to the NOTO Art Center, comply with all provisions of the standard NOTO studio lease presented to me, the rules of the NOTO Art Center and Avant Garde Underground, and will sign and comply with the NOTO Code of Conduct. Should I not complete the residency, I will receive no monetary renumeration in lieu of studio rental and amenities. I also understand I may be called in for a personal interview as part of the selection process.
