Important Information

The works should reflect the land the Surrey Art Gallery is situated in - Bear Creek Park. We are looking for a series of paintings of the park that capture the changing seasons leading up to the show. That way the show has a cohesiveness.

Dates of show:
The exhibition will run from Aug 8 to Nov 1

All artwork will need to be in frames and ready to hang. All art must have D rings installed for hanging. Your art will not be hung if it does not have these installed.

NOTE: Drop off will be in a central location in South Surrey at the end of July and then transported to the Surrey Art Gallery. Details to come when we get closer to that date. You will need to pack your painting and get it ready for transport. DO NOT DROP YOUR ARTWORK OFF AT THE SURREY ART GALLERY.

Works picked up at the end of the show Nov 12/13 2026. Details will follow for pickup.

All works will be juried by the Surrey Art Gallery.

Programming during the show:
Thursday Artist Talk with the Surrey Art Gallery Association Oct 1, 7-8:30: A watercolour teaching/demo class with an intro to the SSWRAS,

Exhibition celebrated at the Oct 3 Opening, 6pm - hopefully all the participating artists can attend.
