1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in dog training, consultations, classes, workshops, and related activities with Fowler K9 Academy involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: injury to myself, my dog, family members, or third parties; injury caused by my dog to other persons, dogs, or property; exposure to saliva, water, food, snow, debris, and other hazards; exposure to contagious illnesses or diseases, despite reasonable preventative measures. I voluntarily accept and assume all such risks.
2. Veterinary & Health Acknowledgment
I certify that my dog is current on recommended vaccinations. I acknowledge that it is impossible to guarantee that illness or disease will not occur. Fowler K9 Academy is not liable for any illness my dog may contract.
3. Waiver & Release
In consideration of being permitted to participate in training, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and agree not to sue or make claims against Fowler K9 Academy, its members, employees, agents, or representatives for any and all injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
4. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fowler K9 Academy from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from my participation or my dog’s behavior.
5. Media Release
I consent to photographs and/or video recordings of myself and my dog during training sessions. I authorize Fowler K9 Academy to use such media for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes without compensation.
6. Binding Effect
This Agreement is binding upon me, my spouse, children, heirs, and assigns. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect.
