  • The Lord called Pleasant Valley Mennonite School into existence for the purpose of training children in all aspects of Christian living. We believe the Bible teaches that when spiritual training is what it should be, academic excellence is the by-product which will follow. We must remember, however, that education which strives only for academic excellence is unbalanced, and therefore, not true education. We believe that true education will include the spiritual, moral, emotional, and physical qualities of our young people.

We wish to provide an excellent academic program that is taught by teachers who are born again and love the Lord Jesus Christ, and have a heartfelt concern for the spiritual well-being of the students.

The committee of the Pleasant Valley School must have the prayers, understanding, and full cooperation of our parents if we are to successfully carry out the ministry to which the Lord has called us.

We trust that during the years of training at Pleasant Valley Mennonite School, your children will become, through daily exposure to the things of the Lord, well-grounded useful Christian young men and women; and that they seek to find God’s direction for their lives.

Please pray for us daily as we carry on the ministry of training young people for the cause of Christ.

    Respectfully in Christ,

    Pleasant Valley Mennonite School Board

    Randall Zimmerman–Chairman

    Quinton Rutt– Vice Chairman

    Doran Witmer –Secretary

    Chad Sheaffer –Treasurer

    Glenn Martin–5th Member

  • I understand that my child will be taught the doctrines of nonresistance, nonconformity, baptism, and all other doctrines, rules and disciplines of the Mid-AtlanticMennonite Fellowship, according to the following passages of scriptures: “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain. For I have delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that He was buried, and He rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” I Corinthians 15:1-4

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
