Important Notes:
- Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-pay basis.
- Each Team is encouraged to send only one team per category (e.g., if you have Team A and Team B, we strongly encourage only one team to register for each category).
- Additional entries will be waitlisted.
Early Bird Registration
Registration Period: 2nd Apr 2026 – 31st May 2026
Fees:
$3,000 for a team of 12 people
$3,500 for a team of 18 people
Conditions for Early Bird Pricing:
- Registration must reach us by 31st May 2026 to qualify.
- Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-pay basis.
- Successful registrants will receive confirmation and payment details via email from the organizer.
- Registration is only confirmed upon full payment of the registration fee.
- The registration fee must be paid within the stipulated timeline specified in the email.
- Full payment must be received latest by 30 June 2026, or by the earlier deadline specified in the confirmation email, whichever is earlier.
- If payment is not made in full by this date or by the earlier deadline specified in the confirmation email, the early bird pricing will no longer apply, and the registration will be void.
- Teams that miss this deadline must re-register at the standard registration rate.
Standard Registration
Registration Period: 1 July 2026 – 31 December 2026
Fees:
$3,500 for a team of 12 people
$4,000 for a team of 18 people
Conditions:
- Full payment must be made by 31 December 2026 or by the earlier deadline specified by the organizer upon confirmation, whichever is earlier.
- Failure to do so will result in an invalid registration, and the team's slot will not be processed.
Submission of Participant List
Deadline: 23 January 2027, 2359 hr.
- Teams must submit the final list of participants by this date.
- If you require an extension, a $50 additional charge per person will apply. The extension period is from 24 Jan 2027 to 6 February 2027.
- Failure to submit the list by the deadline will result in disqualification with no refund of fees paid.
Participant Name Change Fees
- 24 Jan – 20 February 2027: $200 per name change
- 21 Feb – 6 March 2027: $600 per name change
- From 7 March 2027 to 16 March 2027: Full rate applies for any name changes.( as per RWC selling price per cabin)
- From 17 March 2027 – 23 March 2027, no name change will be allowed
- The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any team that does not comply with the competition's Terms and Conditions.
- Appeals based on compassionate or medical grounds will be considered on a case-by-case basis, provided that all necessary supporting documents are submitted for review.
Waitlist Policy
If a team is placed on the waitlist, they will be notified once a slot becomes available. Waitlisted teams must make payment within 24 hours upon receiving confirmation to secure their spot.
Withdrawal Policy
- Teams registering with 18 members must compete in the Dragon Dance event.
- If a team originally registered with 18 members later reduces to 12 members, no refunds will be given for the excess payment, and accommodation will only be provided for 12 members.
- Withdrawals made before 60 days of the competition (i.e., from 22 January 2027 to 23 March 2027) will not be eligible for a refund.
Other Applicable Policy
- All registered troupes are required to participate in *at least one (1)* competition category upon boarding.
In the event that, on the actual boarding day, any registered participant is denied boarding for any reason, and such denial results in the troupe being unable to participate in any of the competition categories, the Organiser reserves the sole and absolute discretion to determine whether the troupe (in whole or in part) shall be permitted to board the vessel.
Where the Organiser determines that the reason for denial of boarding is not due to valid legal restrictions or other legitimate causes that strictly prohibit boarding, the following shall apply at the Organiser’s discretion:
(i) The affected troupe members shall be required to pay the full cabin price at the prevailing rate set by the cruise operator, without any deduction or offset of registration fees.
