AUTHORSHIP, AI DISCLOSURE & CATALOG PROTECTION POLICY
Please read carefully before submitting any music to Little Big Groove Records or any of its affiliated labels.
The electronic music industry is currently undergoing significant changes regarding authorship, ownership, Artificial Intelligence, and content eligibility across distributors, digital stores, streaming services, and promotional platforms.
As a result, Little Big Groove Records has adopted a strict transparency policy designed to protect the integrity, reputation, commercial visibility, and promotional eligibility of its catalog.
By submitting music to Little Big Groove Records, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
OWNERSHIP & RIGHTS
You confirm that you own or control all rights necessary to commercially exploit the submitted work.
You further confirm that the submission does not contain unauthorized copyrighted material, melodies, vocals, samples, performances, or any other content that may create legal, contractual, or distribution conflicts.
AI DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENT
The use of Artificial Intelligence as a creative assistance tool is permitted.
This may include, but is not limited to:
• AI-assisted sound design
• AI-assisted production tools
• AI-assisted mixing or mastering
• Legally licensed AI voice models
• AI-generated ideas, loops, textures, or creative elements
However, any significant use of AI during the creation process must be disclosed honestly.
Failure to disclose relevant AI involvement may result in rejection of the submission, cancellation of agreements, removal from distribution, and permanent exclusion from future consideration.
FULLY AI-GENERATED WORKS
Little Big Groove Records does not accept works generated entirely from prompts and exported without substantial human creative involvement.
Music submitted to our labels must demonstrate meaningful human artistic direction, production decisions, arrangement, and creative authorship.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SUBMITTING ARTIST
The submitting artist remains solely responsible for the accuracy of all statements regarding ownership, authorship, rights clearance, and AI usage.
LBGR relies on the good-faith declarations of the submitting artist when evaluating demos and releases.
Any false, misleading, incomplete, or intentionally omitted information shall be considered a material breach of trust.
CATALOG PROTECTION
Little Big Groove Records reserves the right to reject, suspend, postpone, remove, or terminate any release that may negatively impact:
• The reputation of the label
• Relationships with distributors or digital stores
• Promotional eligibility
• Editorial consideration
• Chart eligibility
• Commercial visibility
• The integrity of the LBGR catalog
This right may be exercised at the sole discretion of the label.
REQUEST FOR VERIFICATION
To protect the long-term interests of the catalog, LBGR reserves the right to request additional documentation regarding the creative process of any submitted work, including project files, stems, work-in-progress versions, screenshots, production notes, or other supporting materials.
LABEL PHILOSOPHY
Little Big Groove Records is not opposed to technology.
We are opposed to the misrepresentation of authorship.
We believe transparency, accountability, and artistic integrity remain essential values within underground electronic music.
If your music, methods, or intentions are not aligned with these principles, Little Big Groove Records may not be the appropriate home for your work.
We sign producers, not prompts.
