  • MENTOR TRAINING

  • Many of the young women, who are Mentees in our programs, have lived through multiple traumatic experiences in their lives such as abuse, neglect, loss and displacement. Many will also have complex mental health issues. This is why it is necessary to train our mentors in Trauma Informed Care and equip them with the necessary skills and tools to support their mentees.

Attending our two training sessions is COMPULSORY for all Mentors.

On our first training day, we partner with Lifeline for an ONLINE course called "The Accidental Counsellor". There are two dates available, you only need to attend one.

Our second training day will be ONLINE and facilitated by the Warrior Woman Team. This training day will cover Mentor expectations and will take you through the program step by step.

Below are the dates for both training days. Please pop these dates in your diary to save the date (for if you are successful).
