Long Island Randonneurs 2026 Volunteer Survey

Help make 2026 a great year for Long Island Randonneurs!

This survey covers spring/summer events, opportunities to organize new rides, and ways to help the club grow. You don’t need to be an experienced randonneur to help, just reliable, curious, and willing to pitch in. Volunteering is a great way to support the community, learn how events work, and contribute even if you’re not riding.

Check all the roles and shifts that work for you (you won't be assigned everything). We'll distribute assignments to make sure we have coverage and no one is overloaded, then confirm exact times as we get closer to each event.

Volunteer Roles:

• Start Control: Check in riders at the start. 
• Finish Control (🔥 Priority): Record rider finish times. 
• Pre-event Support: Help organize volunteers, gear, and logistics before event day.
• Other Day-of Support: Help with day-of-event coordination or anything else.

Note: Volunteers will have opportunities to pre-ride routes for credit in the 15 days before events. This means you can help make events happen and experience the full route on your own schedule beforehand!
