For 2026, to continue the culture of servanthood amongst our leaders and to lessen the strain on student staff, we have adjusted camp staff for the following:
There will be two sets of camp staff set up of students (15+): one for Youth Camp (3 Weeks), and one for Middle/Kids Camps (4 weeks). We will have college age/young adult Team Leads over various leadership roles for the entire camp season (Snack Shack, Media, Rec, Kitchen, Lifeguard, Hangout/Store). We are limiting regular staff roles to one of the set of camps to ensure that all students are invested with care and health.
Pastors Josiah & Alexis Freeman will oversee the staff to invest, disciple, and cover the spiritual aspects of the staff over the weeks of camp.
For pay, all staff will receive a weekly stipend and two camp shirts, as well as all lodging and food costs during camp dates.
Also, lifeguards will be compensated for their license over 2 years included in their stipends. Team leads will receive a weekly bonus to cover extra responsibilities associated with the management role.
LIFEGUARDS (MUST COMPLETE AND PASS LICENSED LIFEGUARD TRAINING PROGRAM AND POSSESS CURRENT VALID LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATE)
Process includes:

•Pastoral Recommendation sent in by current pastor
•For first time staffers, Staff Directors will follow up with recommending pastor
•Staff Directors will interview first time staffers
All staff must be connected with an Assemblies of God Church or Chi Alpha Ministry and show affirmation of having a conversion experience as a Christian. All applicants should have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a servants' heart.
