2026 Youth Tour YLC Application
Each Youth Tour participant has the opportunity to be selected as the one person to represent their state on NRECA’s Youth Leadership Council (YLC). NRECA’s Youth Leadership Council is a networking opportunity carefully curated to build leadership and public speaking skills while enhancing the delegates’ knowledge of the energy industry and the cooperative business model.
The student chosen as the 2026 YLC must be able to attend the following events:
Trip 1: NRECA YLC Summer Program- July 20-24, 2026, in Washington, D.C. (Paid for by Ohio's Electric Cooperatives) Trip 2: Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives Summer and Winter Conferences * Summer Conference August 10, 2026 * Winter Conference February 8-9, 2027 * Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend both conferences Trip 3: NRECA PowerXChange Conference - Feb. 12-17, 2027 in San Diego, California * Paid for by Ohio's Electric Cooperatives
